How do I place an order?

Placing an order

Ordering from Names4ever takes just a few simple steps. You do not need an account to shop with us. All prices listed on our website include VAT.

  1. Step 1: Click on the name jewellery item of your choice and enter the desired text/name. Any lines left blank will remain blank and will not be engraved.
  2. Step 2: Click "add to basket".
  3. Step 3: Fill in all fields and check your order details. Choose a payment method: iDEAL (online banking) Credit Card Paypal Cash on delivery (payment to the postal worker) Comments: enter any comments here Shopping basket: here you will find an overview of the selected products. Address details: enter the billing address and delivery address for your order here.
  4. Step 4: Clicking "checkout" confirms your order.
  5. Step 5: We send an order confirmation by e-mail for every completed order. It is therefore important to enter a correct e-mail address! The order confirmation is not proof of payment, but indicates that your order has been placed and received by us.

How long will it take for my jewellery to arrive?

Our delivery times

You can expect your jewellery to arrive from approximately 5 working days after placing your order. As soon as you place an order, your jewellery goes into production. Making a piece of name jewellery usually takes two to three working days. On the last working day, we will dispatch your jewellery. Postal delivery then takes a further 1-2 working days.

Do you sell real silver / gold?

Materials

The Names4ever collection is inspected in accordance with the Dutch Hallmarking Act. All gold jewellery is made of 14ct gold and therefore carries the 585 hallmark. The silver jewellery is made of sterling silver and carries the 925 hallmark.

The purpose of the Hallmarking Act is to protect consumers against deception and to protect businesses against fraud and unfair competition. That is why all items made of precious metal must be hallmarked before they are offered for sale.

Why does my silver turn black?

Materials

Real silver tarnishes! So this is a good sign that your jewellery is made of real silver. It is caused by exposure to the open air (oxidation). Silver jewellery also tarnishes more quickly through contact with, for example, sweat, perfume, (body lotion and hand cream) and cleaning products. It can be related to the pH value of your skin, which is slightly more acidic in some people than in others. Medication or even your general health can also influence how quickly silver turns black.

Some silver jewellery is rhodium plated or gold plated. This makes a reaction less likely to occur, so these pieces tarnish less quickly. However, this process gives the silver more of a steel-like colour. As we do not find this attractive, we have chosen not to treat our jewellery with rhodium.
